香川県丸亀市にある古民家を改装したゲストハウスです。
駅から歩いて3分ほどの場所にあり、街中の路地裏にポツンと佇んでいます。
宿の大きなコンセプトは「バカモノが集まる秘密基地」です！

僕らは、社会の目を気にせずに、好きなことにチャレンジする人々を「バカモノ」と呼んでいます。
そんな人々が地域内外から集い、自由に楽しく旅人と街に住む人が緩やかに行き交う場所を目指しています。
熱いチャレンジャーな人が集まる印象を受けるかもしれませんが、そういった人だけがこの場に集まっているわけではありません。
そんなチャレンジを応援するのが好きな人だったり、穏やかな空間や旅人の交流を楽しんだりするような、素敵な人たちも地域から集まってきます。

旅人も多種多様でお遍路さんからファミリー、日本一周中の旅人からうどん巡りの学生グループまで、香川を楽しみにくる人たちが大勢集まります。
この場を通してちょっとでもそういった人たちの、想像もできない出会いを作ることができればと考えて、日々運営しています。

エントランスには、カフェ&バーの機能も備わっており、地元の常連さんと乾杯して、
お得な街の情報を得たり、スタッフからおすすめのお店を教えてもらったり、
タイミングが良ければ、そこで集った旅人や街の人と一緒にご飯を食べに行ったり。

いろんなきっかけが生まれる場となっています。

We are a guesthouse in Marugame, Kagawa, lovingly renovated from a traditional Japanese folk house (kominka). Tucked away in a quiet back alley, we’re just a 3-minute walk from the station.

Our main concept is “A Secret Base for the Wildly Passionate!”

We affectionately use the word Bakamono (which usually means “fools” in Japanese) to describe those who chase their dreams and challenge themselves without worrying about what society thinks. We want this to be a place where these passionate individuals gather from near and far, creating a relaxed, welcoming space where travelers and locals can naturally cross paths.

Now, you might think we only host intense, high-energy go-getters, but that’s not the case at all! We also attract wonderful locals who just love supporting others’ challenges, people who enjoy a peaceful atmosphere, and those who love chatting with travelers.

Our guests are incredibly diverse—from traditional Ohenro pilgrims and families to backpackers traveling all across Japan and students on udon-tasting trips. We love welcoming everyone who comes to experience the best of Kagawa. Our daily mission is to spark unexpected, unforgettable connections among the unique people who walk through our doors.

In our entrance lounge, you’ll find a cozy cafe and bar space. It’s the perfect spot to grab a drink, toast with local regulars, pick up some insider tips about the city, or get recommendations from our staff. If the timing is right, you might even find yourself heading out to dinner with a group of newly met travelers and locals! It’s a space where all kinds of beautiful coincidences begin.
